Girl Scout Scrapbook

Golden Embers Service Unit had 10 troops participate in an event-filled weekend. They had a scavenger hunt, went swimming and canoeing, made crafts, and had a luau with hula lessons, games and dinner.

 

Jacalyn W. and her American Sign Language teacher Susan Korte sign the National Anthem at her Gold Award ceremony in May.

 

Cadette Troop #6308 from Silsbee had a great time attending Backpack Training at Camp Camwood.

 

 

Junior Troop #1104 had a busy year. They enjoyed a great meal at Spaghetti Warehouse after an afternoon in downtown Houston. They earned their Girls Sports Patch by trying out many new sports. On a camping trip to Camp Aranna, the troop decorated a tree for the birds and wildlife with eatable ornaments. The troop made a banner to carry in the opening parade of STRIDERS for Golden Embers Service Unit.
