Join the Dragon Boat Regatta!

The Gulf Coast Dragon Boat Association (www.houstondragonboat.com) is hosting the 2nd Annual Dragon Boat Youth competition as part of the International Dragon Boat Regatta – so start gathering your team! Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council is looking for girls to join a paddling team to race against other local youth in this fun race. Each team needs: 20 paddlers, 4 alternates, and 1 drummer. This is a great opportunity for troops, service units, interest groups, or girl planning boards. You do not have to register as a team, you can register individually and join one of the other Girl Scout teams. Paddling experience is not necessary, either! The event is filled with morning team practice, vendors, performers and afternoon official races.
