#5746 relaxes on one of the benches they sanded, painted,
and sealed for a community swim team. They earned the Bronze
Award.

Allison
K., Christina B., and Jenny R. of Troop #2208 earned the Silver
Award by working with a community-based Girl Scout troop.
They lead activities at their troop meetings and organized
a campout for them at Camp Misty Meadows. Each girl led a
patrol in activities that included hiking, swimming, cooking,
and a campfire. Girl Scouts who would like to work with a

Service Unit Weekend. They loved hearing about the legends
of Camp Agnes Arnold during a hiking trip.

#8601 hosted Lowe’s Hero’s Day. They passed out
free smoke alarms, gun locks, and fire extinguishers in Livingston..

Troop #4393 rode one of the Girl Scout big
boats.

Troop #7179 visited the firemen at Station 70 in Houston.
While there the girls were allowed to hold the fire hose and
learned about the history of the station. They earned the
Magenta Petal for “respect authority.”
