HELPING THE SURVIVORS OF HURRICANE KATRINA
The October issue of The Golden Link went to press shortly after the disaster on the Gulf Coast. Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council wants to do everything it can to assist those affected by Hurricane Katrina. As you may be aware, the Girl Scout Center is a neighbor of the Red Cross on Southwest Freeway. GSSJC has offered the Red Cross the use of the 3000 Southwest Freeway building to use for non-perishable storage and are working with them on other ways to assist the effort. You may be aware of other ways to help in your community. Please feel free to support your local efforts – the GSSJC web site (www.gssjc.org) has some suggested ways to help.

PUT YOUR BEST FACE FORWARD patch program with Clinique is on hold for the next school year. Watch for its return in late 2006! Thank you for understanding.
