Overnight at the Houston Museum of Natural Science

The Houston Museum of Natural Science (HMNS) is thrilled to again invite Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council to visit overnight at their museum. HMNS staff Allison Seeman, Curator of Education Collections and Overnight Coordinator, creates exciting overnight themes where girls learn and have fun! Further information is available on the monthly CIN (Council Information Network) and in articles in issues of The Golden Link.

Overnights themed along with special exhibitions will include entry to that exhibit, usually in the morning before the museum opens to the public. While requirements may be completed during overnight activities, it is rare that the earned award will be completely earned by the end of the event, some overnights will touch on several earned awards and help troops work toward completion. All overnighters sleep in the Hall of the Americas on the third floor of our permanent exhibit halls.

PROGRAM AIDES: If you are a Program aide and would like to assist at a Girl Scout overnight, contact Allison Seeman at aseeman@hmns.org.
