sketch of a treasure chestThe GSSJC History Committee is pleased to offer a series of Treasure Chests full of activities featuring the history of Juliette Low and the history of Girl Scouting!

The Treasure Chests of Uniforms contains vintage Girl Scout uniforms for model or display! Twelve randomly assorted sizes of girl or adult uniforms are in each box (you may request either a girl or adult box). These Treasure Chests are designed for all levels, and you may check out more than one box at a time, depending upon availability. (Each box requires a separate payment and deposit.)

Treasures from Daisy contains activities about the founder of Girl Scouts, Juliette Low. It includes games, paper dolls, bloomers, and activities from early Girl Scout badges! This Treasure Chest is designed for girls ages 6-11.

Treasures from Camping contains activities Girl Scouts did at camp in the early years, including semaphore, trail signs and activities from vintage handbooks. This Treasure Chest is designed for girls ages 9 - 17 to use at camp (and in preparation for camp).

Treasure Chests may be reserved by sending in the form below. A $25 deposit and $5 usage fee will be due upon pick-up. Each Treasure Chest may be kept up to three weeks. If the Treasure Chest and its contents are returned in good condition within 3 weeks, your $25 deposit will be returned.

Treasure Chests are available for pick-up at the GSSJC Houston, Lufkin, Beaumont, and Imperial Valley offices. Be sure to mark on your reservation form where you would like to pick up your Treasure Chest. (You must return it to the same location.) Choose three dates you would like to reserve a Treasure Chest, and mail in the form at least two weeks in advance. (Due to a limited number of chests, you might get your second or third choice.)
