With planning for the 2006 resident camp season well under way, we would love to have the help of Girl Scouts of all ages in creating the camper T-shirts and patch designs for Camps Agnes Arnold, Casa Mare, and Misty Meadows.

Need some ideas to get you started?

Here are some favorite camp activities and words that best describe our wonderful camps.

Camp Agnes Arnold: Our gorgeous camp for girls all ages. Campers have plenty of fun in Shadow Lake with canoeing, swimming, paddle boating and snorkeling activities. Girls can hike or bike the 7 miles of trails, visit with Hipper the hippopotamus or catch a glimpse of the Magic Elf. Older girls can experience the thrill of river rafting, ropes course climbing, or photographing the wildlife that share Camp Agnes Arnold with us.

Camp Casa Mare: A favorite camp amongst sailors and other campers that enjoy all things aquatic (swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, water skiing). Our beautiful “house by the sea” is visited daily by warm sunrises and colorful rainbows can be seen over the bay after a rain shower. Campers love to cheer and dance or play a part in our camp theater productions. Girls can explore space as an astronaut, be challenged as a fencing competitor, or relax on the porch swings that overlook the bay.

Camp Misty Meadows: Rolling green pastures are home to our large herd of pretty horses at Camp Misty Meadows. Campers select their riding boots and saddle their favorite horse before leaving the barn for a trail ride. Ranger Phil leads some campers on wagon rides while other girls are on target at the archery field or swimming at the pool. The tennis courts, soccer and softball fields are used by our sporty girls, while others choose to sharpen their skills at self-defense, drama, and dance.

Camp T-shirt Guidelines: Submit original color designs on a full page (8.5 x 11) piece of paper. Use separate pages for each camp design. The full camp name (i.e. Camp Casa Mare) should be used. Be creative, colorful and original. Camp T-shirts will be screen-printed.

Camp Patch Guidelines: Submit original color designs on a full page (8.5 x 11) piece of paper.
Dimensions of patch designs should be no larger than 9cm x 9cm. The full camp name
(i.e. Camp Agnes Arnold) should be used. Be creative, colorful and original. Camp patches will be embroidered.
