Eight Camps |

Camp Aranna is located 2.5 miles north of Baytown between
I-10 and Highway 146. The camp has a troop cabin with bathroom
and fully equipped kitchen, mattresses, and fireplace. At
camp you can cook outside and participate in nature identification,
stargaze, do nature crafts or badge work, and study ecology.
You can also take a short hike to a cemetery to do rubbings.
 Shadow
Lake is the main attraction at Camp Agnes Arnold in Conroe.
The lake offers 35 acres of cool, refreshing fun for campers.
Girls may enjoy canoeing, nature study, and fishing on Shadow
Lake.
Troops
can participate in hiking, cooking outdoors, swimming, and
canoeing. There are also hiking trails throughout camp including
the new trail that goes all the way around Shadow Lake. Girl
Scouts will stay in tents, yurts, tree houses, cabin units,
or at the fishing village.
The camp also has the Ann Temple Allen Lodge, climate-controlled
craft rooms, and a library/memorabilia building.
 
Camp Camwood is a 100 acre camp in Hockley that features
a pavilion with electricity and water and six picnic shelters.
There is a small lake on the property. Program possibilities
at camp include nature crafts and identification, hikes, fishing,
and ecology. Things near camp include Kleb Wood Nature Preserve
and Oil Ranch. Camp Camwood is for day events.

Camp Casa Mare is located on Galveston Bay
in Seabrook. The camp has a pool, pavilion, archery range,
and sailboats. Program possibilities also include stargazing,
sports, bird watching, nature crafts, or just relaxing on
the porch swings and watching the water. Troops stay in dorm
style facilities. The air-conditioned lodge and craft/activity
rooms are also available.

Camp Misty Meadows, in Conroe, is one of the finest horseback
riding facilities in the southeast with barn complex, riding
arenas, riding trails, and a herd of 40 horses waiting to
be loved, hugged, and groomed by troops. The camp also offers
a pool, archery range, and tennis and basketball courts. The
camp also offers an air-conditioned lodge and craft rooms. |

Camp Robinwood is 206 acres nestled in the
woods north of Willis. Program possibilities include swimming,
canoeing, paddleboating, hikes, archery, nature crafts and
identification, cookouts, and outdoor skills. Troops can stay
in cabins, dorms, or platform tents. |
