Day/Twilight Camp Director Training
The State of Texas mandates yearly training for all new
and returning day/twilight camp directors. Girl Scouts of
San Jacinto Council offers several options to help you meet
this state requirement.
In addition, all adults working at day camps must have taken
training for their position and have a volunteer application/criminal
background check on file at the Girl Scout Center. The 7-hour
Day/Twilight Camp Director Training will cover all the areas
needed by day camp directors including recruiting a core staff,
health and safety issues, equipment requests, financial management,
and program.
