Great News! More Options
for Girls 11-17!
Over the last several months, GSUSA has been hard at work
with girls, volunteers and council staff to create ten new
Interest Projects. The information and activities are available
for free to girls at www.studio2b.org.
A “tip” sheet for volunteers is included online
too.
Here are the titles of the ten new Interest Projects along
with a quick synopsis of each. As you can see, there’s
something here for everyone:
In the Pink – Join the fight against
breast cancer by thinking “pink.”
Home Is Where the Heart Is – Tackle
the problem of homelessness in your community.
BXtreme! – Step aside, boys. Adventure
and extreme sports are for girls.
Uncovering the Evidence – This is
CSI - one Cool Science Investigation of the forensic kind.
Couch Potato – Make the most of your
TV watching by becoming an expert at it.
Sew Glam – Clothes may be store bought,
but fashion is what YOU make it!
Global Girls – Become aware of and
take action on women’s issues on a global scale.
Hi-Tech Hide & Seek – Take scavenger
hunts to a new level with Geocoaching and letterboxing.
On Your Own – Prepare for “the
real world” and life away from home. |
