Winter Wonderland Lock-In

child skatingGirl Scouts! It’s time to gear up for the festive season with our Winter Wonderland lock-in event at the Space City Ice Station.

Who: Girl Scouts 8-17 and adult leaders. Safety-wise ratios for overnight events apply. Juniors (2 adults/16 girls); Cadettes (2 adults/20 girls); Seniors (2 adults/24 girls)
What: A great night of ice-skating, music, games, activities, prizes and plenty of fun!
Where: Space City Ice Station, 18150 Gulf Freeway, Friendswood, TX 77546-2722
When: Saturday, December 3 Check in: 9:30-10:30 p.m.; Checkout: 7 a.m. on Sunday December 4.
Min./Max.: 50/300
Cost: $15/person (No Tagalongs. All participants must be registered).

Note: Some troops/groups will choose to camp for the weekend, and some will come for Saturday only. Camping troops/groups must provide a camp-trained adult and first aider. Individual girls may also attend, and camp in the “Juliette” unit. Camping is on a first-come-first-served basis, so register early!

Council Puppetry Troupe

Join the coolest troupe in town! The Council Puppetry Troupe wants all girls ages 11-17 to consider becoming a Council puppeteer. Girls perform using a variety of large hand and rod puppets, as well as write skits and produce their own shows.
