Troop #17043 collected clothes, school supplies, backpacks,
and other items to deliver to 100 Katrina survivors who were
being housed at the Power House in Katy. They were also given
the opportunity to volunteer there. |

Troop #17016 hosted a lemonade stand and worked at a garage
sale with all the proceeds donated to the Red Cross. |

of Troop #6012 collected items and distributed them to survivors.
They also met a Daisy Girl Scout from Louisiana at motel they
visited.

Troop #12266 spent one Saturday making 250 hygiene kits for
hurricane survivors. Presentation of the kits was made at
St. Francis Episcopal Church. |

Troop #3164 collected seven truckloads at a supply drive
they did over Labor Day weekend.

items to be distributed to area shelters.

#4084 braved the rain and helped out Eastern Baptist Church
where 200 evacuees were staying.

Troop #4231 partnered with a troop in Denver’s Mile
Hi Council and distributed goody bags that had been sent.
Some of the goodies were given to Vietnamese children staying
at St. Catherine’s Convent. |

#11240 dropped off their collection of items to the Red Cross
shelter at Spring Tabernacle Church.

#4901 has donated $265 of their troop treasury to support
those affected by Hurricane Katrina. They also volunteered
with Southwest Area Ministries to help box supplies for survivors.
