Troop 5625 finished up their Weather Watch badge by visiting Channel 2 Meteorologist Wes Hohenstein and Radar the weather dog. Girls got to listen and watch during the noon hour news broadcast, watch Wes do a broadcast from the Weather Garden, get a tour of Newschopper2 and get up close and personal with Radar! The field trip was followed up with a lunch at Chili’s.



The Cadette troop from Houston enjoyed their stay in the Fishing Village. While at camp, they completed their Camping IP. The storm on Saturday night didn’t dampen their spirits at all. Pictured are bottom L-R: Chloe, Kelsey, Kate. Top L-R: Jennifer, Ashley, Kelsey and Amanda.


Junior Troop 5989 of Nottingham Country Elementary in Katy (Silver Spur Service Unit) made masks as part of the requirements for the Folk Arts Badge. Girl Scout Troop #7362 conducted a Toy Drive to benefit the Boys and Girls Harbor. Over 300 gifts were collected! A party was held for the Harbor residents with plenty of cake, cookies and punch. Everyone had a wonderful time.
