Troop #2126 hosted activity tables full of fun art projects at the Salvation Army Family Residence. They also hosted the “fishing for prizes” booth. The troop brought art experience and just plain fun time to about 22 Family Residence children. The troop also donated gift items (for the residents’ birthdays and special occasions), clothing, toys, personal care items, and individual packed snacks. Afterward, Ms. Lucy, the Residence manager spoke to the girls and gave them a tour. This was a fantastic service project for the girls as it presented such wonderful learning experience for them as well.

They each got to lead two of the llamas through an obstacle course. They also worked on their Playing Around the World Try-it by learning about games other children play around the world.
