a special ceremony was held.
 Troop
#1582 finished their Bronze Award by delivering 35 Valentine
“Bath Bags” to pamper the moms coming to Interfaith
Caring Mission. The girls chose to focus on moms because everyone
always thinks of the kids. The girls decorated the bags with
a Valentine’s Day theme.
 This
is a picture of “Troop #5234” 16th annual Thanksgiving
dinner. Five of them came over in January and had their annual
feast of muffin pizza, queso, veggies, and pumpkin pie. This
menu has varied little in the past 16 years. Troop #5234 began
as a Daisy troop in 1989 in Mason Creek Service Unit, Katy,
and the troop number was retired when the troop graduated
in 2002. The troop members continue to meet twice a year when
most of them are home from college. Able to meet this January
were Kenna, a junior Education major at Baylor; Laura, a junior
Speech Pathology major at University of North Texas; Kim,
a junior Business major at A&M; Maria Patricia, a junior
MicroBiology major at Cornell; and Stephanie, a Junior Environmental
Science major at Syracuse. Not able to attend this time were
Kimberly, a junior Journalism major at UT; and Leah, a junior
Interior Design major at South Hampton University in England.
The troop plans to meet every year to enjoy their “Thanksgiving
Dinner” no matter what the date is!
