Girl Scout Scrapbook


Junior Troop #8226 welcomed their new members with a special bridging and fly-up ceremony in Haydens Run Park. The girls held a flag ceremony, learned about Girl Scouts, performed a skit about Juliette Low’s life, and were presented with awards they have earned for the year. Pictured with their awards are: Brittany, Lucy, Micaela, Carly, Martha, Maddie, Katherine, and Margaret.


Brownie Troop #12048 participated in Creekwood District’s STRIDERS track and field meet. 


Gracie, Jenny, and Kirsty composed a song to the tune of Pink Pajamas at a Leader/Daughter at Camp Robinwood: 
“Leader Daughter weekend is the funnest time of all.
Paddleboats, Canoe, and shooting arrows at the wall.
Sometimes we hit the bulls eye and sometimes we might miss, But every single night we give our mommies a kiss, Glory glory hallelujah Being together with youuuu-a
Sometimes we might go play with friends, but oh golly-gee
This weekend was made just for you and me!”


Troop #6045 made heart shaped pillows and gave them
to a Senior working on her Gold Award. She took them to a local care facility and handed them out on
the Saturday before Valentines Day.


Brownie Troop #4000 from Silsbee who took a trip to Magnolia to visit the Oil Ranch where they enjoyed the Indian Village, pumpkin patch, train rides, pony rides, and learned to milk a cow!
