Book your trip now for GSSJC’s Leadership Train In! All adults and Senior Girl Scouts are invited to attend a day of training, learning, and fun at the Girl Scout Center.

Leaders! Moving to a new level in the fall? Take leadership training this summer and avoid the fall rush! Attend class with other experienced leaders.
“Travel tips”
* Arrive early – check in begins at 8 a.m. The first trainings begin promptly at 8:30 a.m.
* Be prepared – our training rooms are kept cool to provide maximum comfort, you may want to bring a sweater.
Fare: $5
Reservation: Must be received by June 4. Placement is first-come, first-served.
Baggage: Paper, pen, lunch (no time is available to go out). Sodas (60 cents) and snack machines are available.

Daisy Program Leadership

Discover characteristics of Daisy-age girls and learn ways the girls can earn the Promise Center and Learning Petals. Learn how to finance and govern a Daisy Girl Scout troop. Required for Daisy leadership and beneficial for other interested adults.

Have you ever wondered what makes some arts and crafts activities stand out from the rest? Have you ever wanted to make YOUR activities more creative, exciting, and interesting for the girls? Crafts reinforce learning skills. It is the process of exploring and creating, not just the end product that helps girls feel good about themselves, helps them grow intellectually, emotionally and socially. This training will include hands-on activities as well.

One member of the leadership team has the meeting supplies and ran out of gas, or you have a killer headache, or the girls are like ping-pong balls in a tornado, and the only way you can deal with the situation is to SCREAM! This course will teach you effective methods to eliminate the need to scream.
