The Southwest Division of the Green Starlettes perform at Girl Scout Day at Six Flags AstroWorld.

 

 


Daisy Troop #14076 made pine cone turkeys to help earn their Green Petal. They were considerate and caring by giving their turkeys away to a nearby nursing home to so they could use them as table decorations.

Troop #1594 was the guest of councilwoman Dana Philibert at a Pasadena City Council meeting. The girls were working on their Model Citizen Badge and got to gavel in the agenda items during the meeting.

 

Troop #1594 visited the garden department at Lowe’s to learn about how to care for plants, what grows best in Texas, landscaping, and treating pests. This was to help earn the Plants and Animals Badge.


Junior Jennifer Glaeser and Senior Marie Ullrich take part in a flag ceremony during the Braes Link Service Unit Weekend event at Camp Robinwood in November. More than 300 girls and adults enjoyed a “Fantasy Forest” full of activities and fun, demonstrating the philosophy of being a sister to every Girl Scout.

Troop #7330 from Eastern Shore Service Unit collected 147 canned goods from the community to donate to the Trinity Church Pantry.

Troop #10049, above, participated in Brownie Fun day at Burnoughs Park with 78 other Brownies, pictured below. The girls earned the Outdoor Adventure and Her Story try-its, celebrated Juliette Low’s Birthday, went on a nature hike, did crafts, and had fun exchanging SWAPS.
