Fund Development
Supporters provide brighter futures for tomorrow’s leaders

The Fund Development/Brand Management Department solicits donations from corporations, foundations, and individuals to assure that Girl Scouting is available for all girls and to provide financial means for Girl Scout programs.
Supporters may honor others in Girl Scouting in several ways: donations to one of the Council’s many funds, an engraved brick on the Promise Path at Camp Agnes Arnold, or a plaque at Camp Casa Mare. Women may join The Emerald Circle, a social and service group, which supports Girl Scouting through its membership fees.
Donate on-line to any of the Council funds at www.gssjc.org.

Announcing the new theme for the
2005 Family Partnership Annual Giving Campaign
Families Building the Future
Family Partnership Campaign and the Capital Campaign Join Hands

The 2005 Family Partnership Campaign will be in conjunction with the family portion of the Capital Campaign to help improve our camps and ensure the future of the programs that we provide. Any amount over the goal will go to the Capital Campaign. As usual, donations of $15 or more will receive the 2005 Family Partnership Patch. In addition, donors of $40 will receive a two-part patch that shows their support for the combined campaign.

Remember: This is different than the Celebrate Camp Robinwood Campaign that is targeted towards troops. This campaign is for families.

FAQs:
Do you always ask your parents for Family Partnership? Do you find it hard to ask your parents to give?
Family Partnership Best Practices are available for your service unit. Membership managers picked up a copy of this document for each service unit. Check with them to make sure you have the latest ideas to help your troop reach its full potential for giving to Family Partnership.

Have you come up with a great way to ask for Family Partnership? Ideas are being collected for the second edition of Family Partnership Best Practices expected to be in print by MDC.

Calling all adult Girl Scouts who feel strongly about Family Partnership.
GSSJC is in the process of forming a Family Partnership Task Force to create the theme for the 2006 campaign. This group will also brainstorm and implement new ideas to help streamline the process. Most “meetings” will take place via e-mail with face-to-face meetings only when needed. Contact Iska Wire if you are interested 713-292-0346 or iwire@sjgs.org.
