Doors open at 10:30 a.m., Lunch served at 11 a.m.

GSSJC wishes to extend a personal invitation to our volunteers and their families to attend the annual Recognition Event at the Wyndham Greenspoint. Join us for a memorable day of honoring some of San Jacinto Council’s most distinguished volunteers and community leaders who have played a major role in supporting Girl Scouting.
Individual tickets are available either by completing the form below and mailing it to the Girl Scout Center or purchasing tickets at any Girl Scout shop. Service units or groups may want to reserve a Friendship Table by completing the GSSJC Recognition Event Table Reservation Form (GSSCJ O-631), found on the next page, and submitting for the draw by April 1.
You will also be able to purchase tickets for this exciting event online. The process is easy to use and convenient. For individual ticket purchase, group ticket purchase, or to reserve a Friendship Table, click on Adult Recognition Event on the Council Web site at www.gssjc.org.
For additional assistance or questions, contact Donna Marshall at 713-292-0294, or dmarshal@sjgs.org.

Girl volunteers needed for Adult Recognition Event
Girls of all levels are needed as flag bearers and honor guards for a flag parade and ceremony that will include the American, Texas, W.A.G.G.G.S., and Girl Scout flags at the 2005 Adult Recognition Event.

• Girls must be able to carry a flag.
• Girls must be in full uniform and arrive at the hotel by 8:30 a.m. on the day of the event for rehearsal.
• Girls must be available for one additional rehearsal prior to the day of the event (date and time to
be announced).
• Following the flag ceremony, girls will be dismissed.

Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts are also needed as Green Angels to locate, escort, and assist award recipients during the event. Girls must be in full uniform and arrive at the hotel by 8:30 a.m. Girls volunteering as Green Angels must stay for the event and must provide their own ticket ($15) for the luncheon. Troops may want to consider purchasing the tickets from troop funds. Service units may be able to provide financial assistance.
