Troops weren’t the only winners of early registration incentives. Service units re-registering 80% of their troops were entered into a special drawing for some very special prizes. The winners were announced at the Membership Development Conference in July, including:
Brooks Bayou Service Unit, which savored a trip to dessert heaven, sweets for the sweet, with a program presentation, served by the Program Department at a monthly leader meeting.
Westmoreland Service Unit, which relished a yummy mini-training with appetizer at a monthly leader meeting presented by the Adult Development Department.
LaPorte Service Unit, which dined on an epicurean’s delight dinner dished-up by the Membership Department at its January leader meeting.
Early bird registration is right around the corner. Decide now to fly high and re-register your troop for another great year in Girl Scouting!

Let us hear from you...

The Membership Development Conference has provided fun, learning and sisterhood in San Jacinto Council for 14 years. Do you remember the workshops, hospitality suites, late-night slumber parties, door prizes, interactive booths, entertainment, speakers, meals, and laughter? GSSJC would love to hear about some of your most vivid memories of MDC. As many replies as possible will be included in the May issue of the Golden Link. Remember to include your name and troop number. Send to Kathy Denton, kdenton@sjgs.org.
