Enter the Pidd Miller Doll Award Contest and win $100

   The Pidd Miller Doll Award encourages Girl Scouts in the art of doll collecting. Generously underwritten by Dr. Pidd Miller, this award will be given to one girl from each age group. Each Doll Award recipient will receive a $100 cash prize, an award certificate, and recognition in The Golden Link.

Instructions for Girls: Use the application provided. In your own words write your answer to the following: “What does doll collecting mean to me?” Using your best handwriting or printing, complete the form on this page. Draw a picture of your favorite doll, or submit a photo of you with your doll(s), in the box on this page.

Reception: An awards reception will be held on Sunday, May 15 at 2 p.m. All girls who enter the competition are welcome to attend the ceremony. Awards will be presented at that time.

Deadline: Applications must be received on or before April 9, 2005. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Award recipients will be announced by mail in April to each applicant. No phone calls, please. Mail applications to:

Prior winners of the Pidd Miller Doll Award may not win again in the same age group, but may compete again after bridging to a higher level.

I understand that the decisions of the judges are final, confidential, and may not be contested. Each Pidd Miller Doll Award recipient will receive a $100 cash prize. My signature on this document allows Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council to use photographs, voice and/or video tapes of my child for Girl Scout public relations, including the www.gssjc.org Web site, and The Golden Link.
