First Aid/CPR Challenge ($7.50)
The challenge is designed for individuals who have already taken Red Cross first aid and CPR training and just need recertification. No skills will be taught. Come prepared to take the written test and demonstrate proficiency with the skills. You may challenge one or all of the following tests: First Aid Basics, Adult CPR, Child CPR, Infant CPR, or AED Essentials. 
Prerequisite: First/Aid CPR previously (this is a recertification)
Bring: Pen or Pencil

Friday, September 30, 7-10 p.m.

Level 2 First Aider ($10)
This course will include When Help is Delayed as well as tips for setting up first-aid stations at events and day/twilight camps, handling paperwork, and other tips. This is a short course designed to provide the citizen responder with the knowledge and skills necessary in an emergency to help sustain life, reduce pain, and minimize the consequences of injury or sudden illness until professional medical help arrives. Book and materials are included in $10 fee. 
Prerequisite: Must be First/Aid CPR certified

Come join us for music, friendship, and festive activities that will leave you wanting more. Indicate your plans to spend Friday night at camp by selecting this course offering. Reserve your bunk and seat beside the campfire today! In addition, you can register separately for program level trainings and first-aid courses listed previously. 
Bring: Friday night dinner, camping gear, toiletries, clothes, and mug for drinking.

This course is designed to teach supportive, friendly, and effective methods of communicating with your teenager. Gain a better understanding of them, how to cope with them, and some ways to direct their turbulent lives to make for a more harmonious home.

“Kids will be kids” is not acceptable when it comes to bullying. Bullying can affect a person’s attitude for the rest of their lives, whether they are the bully, the target or the bystander. Learn “real world” tips and strategies for dealing with both social and physical bullying. Yummy for your tummy. These snacks are the cure for any campers hunger pains. Use different cooking methods in the great outdoors. Also offered in Session 2.

Crazy Concoctions
Help build a child’s self esteem and confidence by encouraging her to explore, create, learn and experiment. Mix up a few fun and easy recipes to create crafts, experiments and projects for your girls. You will receive instructions for making inexpensive creations by using nothing more than common household products.

Girls love making jewelry! In this workshop you will learn some creative ways to use horseshoe nails and wire for making some unique jewelry to take back to your troop. It will keep them busy for hours.

Have those doll and toy making try-its and badges got you stumped? You’ll learn how to make Cornhusk dolls the easy way with paper twist and other wonderful ideas that can help you work with the girls to accomplish great results.

What do eggs, cucumbers, yogurt and milk have in common? They are all inexpensive ingredients used to make great facial cleansers, masks, etc. Find out what other common ingredients from your kitchen have similar purposes.
