State Park. They all had water bottles in their newly made
tummy-packs!
Junior
Girl Scout Troop #5589, along with friends and family, spent
the day at Dewberry Farms. They enjoyed many activities such
as riding the Farmer Flinger, climbing up Hay Mountain, rolling
down the roller pipe slide, and even searching the pumpkin
patch for “just the right pumpkin.” The troop
even used their Girl Scouting skills to navigate through the
Texas Maze.

Troop #5203 pitched tents and camped at Mission Tejas State
Park. They drove to the Texas Railroad State Park and took
a ride on an historic steam engine train from the 1800s. They
had lunch at the depot and met several characters from the
old west. The rain dampened their tents but not their spirits.
