Basic Water Rescue
This Red Cross course provides individuals with the information
and skills necessary to prevent, recognize and respond to
water emergencies using non-swimming rescues. Proper techniques
to care for possible head, neck or back injuries will be covered.
This course will also prepare you for water emergencies by
teaching you how to protect yourself while assisting others.
It is highly suggested that all sailing adults take this course.
It is a great class for those desiring to become certified
pool watchers. It is the course recommended by Safety-Wise.
Portions of the Water Sports Interest Project Patch are also

all the information and skills needed to be a certified lifeguard.
