Girl Scout Sing Along

Enjoy a Council camp and sing old and new songs with sister Girl Scouts. This is not a songs training. Event brought to girls by the members of Take Note Council Choir

Who: All Girl Scouts, leaders, and interested adults
Absolutely no tag-a-longs
Where: Camp Agnes Arnold Lodge, Conroe
When: Girl Scout Sunday, March 6
2-4:30 p.m.
Bring: Leader keeps completed for each girl:

  • GSSJC form F-204, permission slips
  • GSSJC form F-185, medical forms
  • GSSJC form F-22, Adult Emergency form for all adults
  • First aid kit (leader acts as the first aider for troop during event)
  • SWAPS - Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere To Share With A Pal. Little simple handmade mementos to trade/swap with other girls
  • Food Drive - cans of food to support World Thinking Day
  • Snacks, drinks, water bottles (optional)
  • Cassette tape player/batteries (optional)

Min./Max.: 100/350
Cost: $5/person (adults and girls), includes camp facility fee, one patch per participant, and two song sheets per troop/group.

Note: Would your troop like to share (sing or teach) a favorite song? If yes, please include the lyrics with your registration form. Take Note Choir will draw from interested troops. Selected troops will be notified prior to the event.

What’s Buggin’ You?
A Project Horizons Event

What’s bugging you? Come to camp and have lots of fun finding out just what is bugging you. The girls will spend the day at camp enjoying crafts, nature games, songs, hiking, and other fun “bug” ideas.

Who: Daisies, Brownies, and their leaders
Where: Camp Misty Meadows
When: Saturday, March 12, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Bring: Sack lunch, cup, rain poncho, sit-upon, swaps, and expectations of fun
Min./Max.: 50/200 girls - these events fill fast so register early
Cost: $8 per person - girls and adults; includes patch, event supplies and camp fee.

Let’s Go Fly A Kite!
A Project Horizons Event

Spring brings blooms and kites to camp. Spend the day making and flying a kite. There will be crafts, songs, games, hiking, and other breezy activities!

Who: Daisies, Brownies, Juniors and their leaders
Where: Camp Agnes Arnold
When: Saturday, April 9, 9 a.m-4 p.m.
Bring: Sack lunch, cup, rain poncho, sit-upon, and swaps.
Min./Max.: 50/200 girls - these events fill fast so register early
