Urban Campout Returns!

Urban Campout, an all-adult fundraiser, returns in full swing on April 14, 2005, (7-10 p.m.). Held at the Houston Texans Practice Bubble in Reliant Park, Urban Campout will provide many exciting activities for guests to enjoy, such as mechanical bullriding, a model race car race, unique photo ops, opportunities to kick a football through the goal posts, and sing songs around a campfire, among many other activities. Janice McNair will be honored at this event. She is a past troop leader and a strong advocate for girls. Betsy Kamin and Deon Brown will serve as Honorary Chairs. Dorothy Goodykoontz, Barbara and Larry Catuzzi, and Minerva Perez will serve as the Honorary Co-Chairs.

Call for Volunteers

In order to implement activities and fulfill other responsibilities involved with Urban Campout, GSSJC is asking for adult volunteers to lend the Council their time, dedication and special skills (bar tending, face painting, fortune tellers, first aid, etc.) to make this event possible.
