What About Me? That’s a question both mothers and daughters ask as they face the many changes that occur as girls enter their teenage years. Girls may think it’s all about them, but there are lots of changes for moms during these years, too. Learning to communicate about these issues makes these challenging years easier for everyone.
Join us for a special guest speaker who will talk about communication skills. Then take your choice of two break-out sessions. Sample break-out sessions include: You Are What You Eat; Shop ‘Til You Drop; All About Boys; Girl Power; Take Charge; Fun & Fit; and I Can Do That!
Break-out sessions are provided with the help of: GSSJC, Girls, Inc, the Houston Area Women’s Center, the McGovern Museum of Health and Medical Science, Texas Executive Women, and The Women’s Fund for Health Education and Research.
After the event, be sure to stay for some fabulous mother/daughter door prizes and a complimentary museum tour!
