Troop #10140 enjoyed a day exploring the museum district in Houston. The girls rode a Metro bus downtown, then hopped on the Metrorail to the museum district. They toured the Museum of Natural Science and History, the Cockrell Butterfly Center, Sculpture Garden, Contemporary Art Museum, and explored Hermann Park.

Evergreen and Delta Skies service units held an “All About Sports” camping weekend at Camp Agnes Arnold. The campout was attended by 47 troops. More than 25 workshops were held including whittling, knots, fun with food, and dancercise. The girls enjoyed cooking outside, fishing, crafts, karaoke, the campfire, SWAPS, and participating in the service project of making chalkboards.

Third-year Brownies and Juniors from St. Thomas More Church visited and had lunch with the second year Brownies near the treehouses at Camp Agnes Arnold. The troops loved canoeing, playing at camp, cooking, and visiting the horses.

 

 

 

Troop #5652 filled Christmas stockings for eight boys living at Boys and Girls Country. A Boy Scout troop in their area sponsors the annual Christmas party with gifts and an appearance by Santa Claus. The girls also served food at the party. Troop #5638 made trays of cookies for dessert.
