Troop #4206 made and modeled these cool ponchos.

Daisy Troop #9008 of Crosby recently celebrated their first year as Girl Scouts by going to Build-A-Bear in Humble. Each of the girls assisted Build-A-Bear in donating a bear to the Tsunami victims.

Amigos Por Vida Charter School Troops Daisy #20098 and Brownie #20099 (Willowbridge Service Unit) performed a flag ceremony at their end of the year celebration.

Susan E. achieved the rare distinction of earning a total of 60 try-its while a Brownie Girl Scout. That’s the 57 listed in the try-it book plus three new or Council specific try-its! As a second-grade Brownie, Susan also earned the God and Me award. Susan was part of Troop #5683 in Mason Creek for 3.5 years before her family took a temporary assignment in Taipei, Taiwan. When the family moved to Taiwan, she could not find a local Brownie troop that would fit her schedule. Instead, she continued work as a Juliette. Because she missed contact with other Girl Scouts, Susan volunteered at several Daisy Girl Scout meetings and helped them complete their bridging requirements. Susan looks forward to being part of a Junior troop in Taipei in the fall, but can’t wait to get back to Troop #5683 later next year.
