The Gulf Breeze Service Unit hosted a tea party for leaders and their daughters. They enjoyed learning the art of napkin folding and making beautiful hats out of newspaper and craft supplies. Mother/daughter pictures were taken and each made decorative place mats. The girls also did cake decorating that was enjoyed with their tea. At tea time, there were many varieties of tea to choose from, as well as cold drinks. It was such a nice way for the leaders to spend time with their daughters and to honor the tradition of Juliette Gordon Low. She used tea parties as one way to encourage attendance of her first troop members, who sometimes had to walk miles to attend the troop meetings.
