GIRL SCOUT DAY AT SIX FLAGS ASTROWORLD AND RACE FOR THE CURE ARE BOTH ON OCTOBER 1 Make it a Girl Scout Day – participate in Race for the Cure in the morning and head over to SixFlags AstroWorld in the afternoon. Check the CIN for details about a cool art project that girls will be doing for display at AstroWorld.

JOIN THE PRESS CORPS Press Corps members help get out the word about the benefits of Girl Scouting and the accomplishments of individual Girl Scouts through their neighborhood newspapers. Each service unit should have a press corps representative. If you would like to serve on the press corps talk to your service unit manager or e-mail Betsy Denson at bdenson@gssjc.org.
