The
Fund Development/Brand Management Department solicits
donations from corporations, foundations, and
individuals to assure that Girl Scouting is available
for all girls and to provide financial means for
Girl Scout programs.
Supporters may honor others in Girl Scouting in
several ways: donations to one of the Council’s
many funds, an engraved brick on the Promise Path
at Camp Agnes Arnold, or a plaque at Camp Casa
Mare. Women may join The Emerald Circle, a social
and service group, which supports Girl Scouting
through its membership fees.

Urban Campout 2005...a great success!
We would like to sincerely thank
all the volunteers that helped make Urban Campout
such a success. The committee chairs, honorary
chairs, and honoree also did a phenomenal job
supporting and representing Urban Campout 2005.
In May, an appreciation luncheon was held at Maggiano’s
Little Italy for Honoree Janice McNair, Honorary
Chairs Deon Brown and Betsy Kamin, Honorary Co-Chairs
Barbara and Larry Catuzzi, Dorothy Goodykoontz,
and Minerva Perez as well as all the committee
chairs for their commitment to Urban Campout.
This luncheon was the closure to Urban Campout
2005, while the plans for the next Urban Campout
have begun.
