ETC: Every Thing Covered

Hit the Trail to ETC 2005

September 30 – October 2 at Camp Agnes Arnold

Lasso your friends and hit the trail to ETC! Every Thing Covered (ETC) is a great event to experience fun,
while learning with all levels of Girl Scouts from all parts of the Council. You may choose to fill your
weekend with a wide variety of workshops, or simply hibernate and relax with your friends. Other
opportunities include pioneer fun, campfire, music, evening program, “Squash the Myths” (an informal
session Saturday evening to chat with other leaders about program level issues) and more!

How to Register:
* If you will be spending the night, sign up for Friday and/or      Saturday overnight
* Choose your favorite from each session.
* Indicate 1st, 2nd choices
* Placement in workshops will be on a first come basis
* Only one person per form
* Deadline is SEPTEMBER 23 		Cost:
* Event Fee $26, includes three meals on Saturday and      Sunday breakfast, take home materials, and workshops      (including Friday and Saturday overnights, activities, and      Sunday activities)
* Additional fees for program
     level and first aid trainings ($ cost is listed below)
Friday Check in:         12:30-9:30 p.m. (Gates lock at 10 p.m.)
Saturday Check in:      8 a.m. (breakfast for overnighters only)
Saturday Check out:    5 p.m. (after workshops) or 9:45 p.m. (after campfire)
Sunday Check out:      11 a.m.

Absolutely no children will be allowed to attend this event!

Daisy Program Leadership ($3)
Discover characteristics of Daisy-age girls and learn ways the girls can earn the Promise Center and Learning Petals. Learn how to finance and govern a Daisy Girl Scout troop. Required for Daisy leadership and beneficial for other interested adults.
Prerequisite: Basic Leadership Training
Bring: The Guide for Daisy Girl Scout Leaders, Daisy Girl Scout Activity Book and Safety-Wise

Brownie Program Leadership ($3)
Learn about working with Brownie-age girls, the Brownie Ring (troop government), try-its, and other program activities. Required for Brownie Girl

Scout leadership and beneficial for other interested adults as well.
Prerequisite: Basic Leadership Training
Bring: The Guide for Brownie Girl Scout Leaders, Brownie Girl Scout Handbook, Try-its for Brownie Girl Scouts, Safety-Wise

Junior Program Leadership ($3)
Explore characteristics of the 9 to11 year-old girl, learn about the patrol system, become familiar with the Junior earned awards and discuss other fun program activities for your Junior Girl Scout troop. Required for leaders of Junior-age girls.
Prerequisite: Basic Leadership Training
Bring: Junior Girl scout Leader Guide Book, Junior Girl Scout Handbook, Junior Girl Scout Badge Book, Safety-Wise

Teen Advisor ($3)
Learn what your role is as an advisor to girls who are 11 to17-years old. Gain insight into how girls this age think, what they like to do, how to help them set and reach goals, and when to step back so girls can develop leadership skills. Discover ways to become teen savvy, how to talk to girls about the 3T’s (Touchy Teen Topics), and maintain confidentiality with troop/group members, plus much more. Fulfills the requirement for Cadette, Senior, and STUDIO 2B advisors.
Prerequisite: Basic Leadership Training
