Troop #1104 really enjoyed GEMS last summer. It was a great
way for them to start off as Juniors. The girls earn the Math
Whiz Badge along with learning about Aerospace, International
Scouting, and Team Building. The troop also took a trip to San
Antonio with a portion of their cookie money. The girls spent
two days at Sea World seeing shows, playing in the water and
riding roller coasters. They are now talking about their next
big trip to Savannah.
Junior Troop #1104 also attended a Tea Party at the Council
office with Juliette Low this last summer. The girls made fans
and purses and learned the etiquette of using a fan and drinking
tea.
