Troop #3622 attended the San Jacinto Monument Family Days. They were there as volunteers to help with the children’s crafts and with demonstrations. The event helped them earn some of the requirements for the Heritage Hunt Interest Project. Troop #6125 visited the Port Arthur Library to see Richard James talk about Adventure of the Elements. They also visited the Wastewater Treatment Plant to earned the Water Drop Badge.
Brownie Troop #2408 had fun at Camp Casa Mare. Troop #12331 of Duchesne Academy celebrated how much they have learned at their Court of Awards Ceremony.
Troop #1805 learned it is better to give than to receive. Instead of exchanging Christmas presents, the girls donated $10 to purchase fleece material to make 14 large blankets. The girls began fringing and knotting each blanket at their November campout and completed the project at their Christmas party. The blankets were donated to Project Linus, who in turn donated them to the Jameson Center in Galveston.
