The
Fund Development/Brand Management Department solicits
donations from corporations, foundations, and
individuals to assure that Girl Scouting is available
for all girls and to provide financial means for
Girl Scout programs.
Supporters may honor others in Girl Scouting in
several ways: donations to one of the Council’s
many funds, an engraved brick on the Promise Path
at Camp Agnes Arnold, or a plaque at Camp Casa
Mare. Women may join The Emerald Circle, a social
and service group, which supports Girl Scouting
through its membership fees.
Donate on-line to any of the Council funds at
www.gssjc.org.

Calling All Parents
Fund Development
needs your help to make connections with corporations
where our families work so that we may ask them
to support Girl Scouting in a significant way.
Would you help?
Find out who the
Community Relations Director or person in charge
of donations at your company, and give the information
to Girl Scout volunteer Bud Simpson at 281-778-5199
or staff advisor Marianita Paddock at 713-292-0207.
The Celebrate Camp
Robinwood Troop Campaign actually is just one
piece of a much larger campaign,
Invest in a Better Future Capital and Endowment
Campaign. The $12 million campaign includes components
to upgrade and endow six camps, ensure the future
of community outreach programs, endow two staff
positions, and provide five more college scholarships
per year for Girl Scout Gold Award recipients.
The campaign will provide this Council with the
tools it needs to better serve the girls who are
currently Girl Scouts, as well as those who will
join in the future.
GSSJC Board members
and staff already have supported the campaign
100%, and GSSJC is currently soliciting major
gifts from foundations, corporations, and prominent
members of the community. It will take everyone
in the community, including Girl Scout families
and volunteers, to reach the goal. Together, we
can build a better tomorrow for all our girls!
