Way to go Troops!!!

Help us keep track of our progress: The new Robin Hop to our goal chart is located in the lobby at the Girl Scout office. This is a great way to keep track of where we are on our way to the troop goal of $500,000.

Hello Girls,

I am so excited about the Celebrate Camp Robinwood Troop Campaign. The troops, groups, and service units that I have visited are really committed to the effort of making Camp Robinwood an even better place to camp.
Did you know that troops and service units are being very creative in their efforts to raise money for the Celebrate Camp Robinwood Troop Campaign? Here are just a couple of ideas. I hope to collect more ideas of what girls are doing to help make the Campaign a success. If you have a great idea, just send it to my staff partner, Iska Wire at 713-292-0346 or iwire@sjgs.org.
Troop #11550 is collecting pennies for the Camp Robinwood Troop Campaign. They have a huge jar at each meeting for the girls to put pennies they have saved. They call this project “Copper for Camp.” Way to go girls! This is a great idea.
Silver Spur Service Unit had a great service unit weekend where they encouraged all of their troops to make a donation to the Celebrate Camp Robinwood Troop Campaign. They brought in almost $2,000! Each troop made a donation on a form and the service unit registrar came to the office to do the paperwork.
I hope to visit with each of these groups and have more to tell you in next month’s The Golden Link.

Happy Camping,
