2005 Cookie Sale
Make Forever Memories
by Ruth Helmich
In 1912 our journey as Girl Scouts started,
and it continues on today. We know not where the path will
lead us; but as we travel it together, we grow strong along
the way.
Each girl travels the path by herself, navigating through
life with the tools given to her. Each day offers adults another
chance to help her Make Forever Memories: to expand her horizons,
to help her grow, to celebrate who she is so that she has
the confidence to stand tall and reach high. It all begins
today and the Council Cookie Committee is here to help.
The Girl Scout Cookie Sale imparts lessons
and skills that last a lifetime. It connects girls, families,
volunteers, councils, and the public to create the most positive
cookie sale experience possible. |

Together, adults have an opportunity to
help each girl create her own scrapbook of life, to guide
and help shape the memories of her lifetime.
In the coming months the Council Cookie
Committee will have tips and projects for all levels of girls
to help document the memories they are making in Girl Scouting.
Read all about them in future issues of The Golden Link and
in your 2005 Cookie Sale materials. |
