Girl Scout Scrapbook

Troop #5822 achieved the Bronze Award by hosting a Brownie Fun Day with the theme of a Hawaiian luau for 70 Brownies. Activities included making grass skirts and leis, playing games, singing songs, creating and eating Hawaiian trail mix, and drinking volcano drinks.

Troop #4380 earned the Bronze Award by planning and conducting an Everrock Service Unit bridging ceremony for more than 100 girls.

Troop #1594 participates in the Pasadena Strawberry Festival Parade each year. The theme this year was Celebrating the Arts through Education. The girls dressed as artists, dancers, musicians, a chef, and a mime. They won the Presidents’ Award Trophy. They are pictured with Sparky the Fire Dog.

Dogwoods Hills Service Unit held a Girls are Great Event at the Daisy House in Livingston.

 

Christine C. earned the Bronze Award by collecting stuffed animals, fixing them, and giving them to the elderly.

Daisy Troop #13052 celebrated its bridging ceremony in June. Sarah, Kaitlyn, Haley, Megan, Khia, Allison, Kinley, and Emily are now Brownie Girl Scouts.

 

Troop #1002 earned try-its, made friends, and traded SWAPS at a badge/try-it fair at Magnolia High School.

 

 

Before bridging to Juniors, Mary F. of Troop #10888 earned all of the Brownie try-its, was awarded the Family of God religious award, and earned the highest level of achievement in her ballet exams and the rank of yellow belt in karate.
