Who: Daisy, Brownie, Junior Girl Scouts, and their leaders
What: Enjoy a totally enchanted day at camp! Activities will
include songs, games, hiking, crafts, and swaps.
When: Saturday, September 25, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Where: Camp Agnes Arnold
Cost: $8 per person – girls and adults (Includes patch,
event supplies, and camp fee)
Bring: Sack lunch, cup, rain poncho, and sit-upon

Shutterbugs

Shutterbugs is a special interest group for
Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts that want to learn
composition of photography, creativity, and how
to develop their own pictures in a dark room.
Who: Girls in 7-12 grades; 12 girls
max
Dates: September 17, 24, November 5, or December

Friday - check in at 8 p.m. (Eat before arrival)
Sunday - check out at 4 p.m.

Bring: 35 mm camera, one yard of cotton fabric,
permission slip, medical form, your own food for
the weekend (mess kit for cooking food, cup, plates,
eating utensils, etc.). Make your meals simple.
Personal gear for a camp out, poncho, and stuffed
animal.
Provided: Film, chemicals, and paper to develop
some pictures. Please include parent’s e-mail

Just for Juniors
Something old, something new, fun at camp, just for
you! Event is sponsored by the GSSJC History Committee.
Who: Junior Girl Scouts and their leaders
What: Enjoy a fun day at camp! Activities will include hiking
and trail signs, singing, crafts, lashing and knot tying relays,
ceremonies, wish boats, swaps, and lots of surprises like
spending a day at camp in Grandma’s shoes!
When: Saturday, October 30
Time: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Where: Camp Silver Springs
Cost: $8 per person – girls and adults (includes patch,
event supplies, camp fee, bandanas, and song sheets)
Bring: Sack lunch, cup, rain poncho, and sit-upon
