Fund Development
Supporters provide brighter futures for tomorrow’s leaders

The Fund Development/Brand Management Department solicits donations from corporations, foundations, and individuals to assure that Girl Scouting is available for all girls and to provide financial means for Girl Scout programs.
Supporters may honor others in Girl Scouting in several ways: donations to one of the Council’s many funds, an engraved brick on the Promise Path at Camp Agnes Arnold, or a plaque at Camp Casa Mare. Women may join The Emerald Circle, a social and service group, which supports Girl Scouting through its membership fees.
Donate on-line to any of the Council funds at www.gssjc.org.

You “CAN” make a difference through
Family Partnership

Family Partnership is a chance each year for families to make a donation that stays within our Council to help support programs for the girls. The money raised by Family Partnership is used to support a variety of needs in our Council including tents, tarps, cots, mattresses, sailboats, camp bicycles, paddle boats, and other items needing maintenance.

Did you know that it costs the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council $167.00 to provide program for just ONE girl? And we serve over 58,000 girls in our Council. Did you know that your $10 membership dues go directly to the Girl Scouts of the USA to support research and pay for insurance? None of this money stays within our Council. Your donations to Family Partnership make it possible for us to provide Girl Scouting for all of our girls. 100% of the money you donate to Family Partnership stays in our Girl Scout Council!

What “CAN” you do?

Families: Use the donation form printed on the next page to make a donation directly to Family Partnership. Or get your entire family involved by making a Family Partnership CAN-DO Bank using the pattern on the facing page and decreasing it to fit your can. Encourage your daughter and others in the family to put their pocket change and other donations in this bank made from a soup can. When it is filled, have your daughter bring it and the completed donation form printed on page 57 either to her troop leader or directly to the Girl Scout Shop. Donations of $15 or more receive the official Family Partnership patch.

Troops: Make a troop Family Partnership CAN-DO Bank using the pattern on the facing page and put it on an empty oatmeal container. Have girls bring their extra change to meetings and talk about what they want the money to be used for in Girl Scouting. As they make donations, they can say why they are thankful for Girl Scouts. As a troop, consider voting to have a portion of dues or product sales money donated to Family Partnership.

Service Units: Make a Service Unit Family Partnership CAN-DO Bank and place this bank at events, rallies, leader meetings, parent activities, and other places to encourage donations to Family Partnership.
