One Warm Coat

GSSJC and the national service project One Warm Coat (www.onewarmcoat.org) are partners in a Council-wide service project to collect clean, gently used coats and jackets in all sizes to donate to local groups who will distribute them free of charge.

After collecting coats and dropping them off at the charity of your choice, complete GSSJC form F-269 and send in to the Council; go to www@onewarmcoat.org and complete the One Warm Coat report form, to receive a certificate for your troop’s participation, patches are also available at the Web site;

Great guidelines are available on the One Warm Coat website. Many thanks to GSSJC volunteer Diana Artale for coordinating this effort. Questions may be directed to Melinda Gaskill, 713-292-0232 or mgaskill@sjgs.org.
