Summer Carrousel is what the girls of Troop #8017 chose to do with some of their cookie money. They painted memory shirts and spirit sticks, played archery, sang songs, and the girls learned how to do kaper charts duties of cooking, grace, and clean up.

Troop #8017 visited Serendipities with part of their cookie money. They each picked an animal, named it, and each got a set of clothes, shoes, and a Brownie outfit.

Ten girls from Troop #8400 earned the Bronze Award. They each earned the Leadership Pin and/or the Junior Aide Award, Sign of the Star, and Lead On and Girl Scouting in My Future badges. The girls put together a Brownie try-it event in Tannybo Service Unit.

Troop #8017 visited a nursing home. The girls took clay pots, decorated the outside, and filled the pots with different things for Easter for the residents of the home. Each pot contained diabetic candy and playing cards for the men and hand lotion for the ladies.

Troops #10049 and #10260 attended the Victoria Tea Party at the Girl Scout Center. The girls wore party dresses, made Victoria era purses, practice manners, and sang songs.

Emily, Brooke, Kaney, and Brooke of Troop #10260 enjoyed Girl Scout Day at Six Flags AstroWorld.

Troop #8400 bridged from Juniors to Cadettes aboard a cruise to Mexico in July. Right, girls who where unable to go the cruise were treated to a special ceremony in which they bridged during a mock cruise sleepover. They enjoyed a night in a hotel, dinner at Benihana’s, movies, and a cookout.

Senior Troop #11088 went to Central Market in Houston to tour the store and see foods from around the world. While there, they met Damian Mandola and Johnny Carrabba.
