Girl Scouting offers collection of program offerings and ideas

Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council strives to offer activities and events which are fun, educational, and challenging–representing a variety of opportunities for girls no matter what their age.

Most of these opportunities at the Council level are planned and led by the volunteers and staff of the Program Department. The program coordinator is volunteer Marion Hazen and the program director is Linda Pau.

The mission of the GSSJC Program Department is to:

  • Research and develop new program opportunities to meet the changing needs of girls within the Council.
  • Evaluate current program offerings on an on-going basis, and modify as needed.
  • Provide the resources and support to leaders to help them plan quality- balanced program at the troop level.

Listed here are a collection of program offerings. Also, each issue of The Golden Link contains upcoming events in the Program section of the magazine. The Council Web site, www.gssjc.org, lists the most current offerings under the Council Information Network (CIN).
