Girl Scout Gold Award Orientation Dates for Girls 14-17

·Saturday, December 4 from 10 a.m.- noon at Girl Scout Center - Houston
· Sunday, February 20 from 2- 4 p.m. at Girl Scout Center – Houston
· Saturday, April 2 from 10 a.m.- noon at Girl Scout Center - Houston

Cost is $5 per person (includes adults) and everyone must register using the Program Registration Form in The Golden Link. Event code: 10-63-17-6246

Scholarships

· The Emerald Circle Merit Scholarship – distribution in January 2005
· Elks National Foundation Annual Scholarship – distribution in February 2005
· Statewide Gold Award Scholarship – distribution in February 2005

Event Dates

· April 10, 2005 – Senior Recognition Event (Invitations will be sent to all April 2004 – March 2005 Gold Award recipients, 2004 Graduating Senior Girl Scouts, and Senior Girl Scouts who have earned their 10-Yr Pins)
· June 2005 (Tentative) – Statewide Gold Award Ceremony in Austin, Texas (Invitations will be sent to all Gold Award recipients who have earned their Gold Award between May 2004 and April 2005)
· July 2005 (tentative) – Elks Banquet for Gold Award and Eagle Scout recipients

· February 2005 – Elks National Foundation Annual Scholarship information available.
Statewide Gold Award Scholarship application available.
· March 6, 2005 – Completion deadline for eligibility to apply for Emerald Circle Scholarship
· March 11, 2005 – *Deadline for The Emerald Circle Gold Award Merit Scholarship.
· April 10, 2005 – Senior Recognition Event, honoring all April 2004 – March 2005 Gold Award recipients, 2005 Graduating Senior Girl Scouts and Senior Girl Scouts who have earned their 10-Yr Pins.
· June 2005 – Statewide Gold Award Ceremony in Austin, Texas, honoring all May 2004 and April 2005 Gold Award recipients who have earned their Gold Award.
· September 30, 2005 – Completion deadline for 2005 high school graduates.
