Thank You to Day and Twilight Camp Volunteers
A big thanks goes out to the directors,
co-directors, all who volunteered at the day and twilight
camps last summer! They were a HUGE SUCCESS! All the camps
were so amazing and served so many girls all over the Council!
You guys did an amazing job!

wait until next year? Interested in directing a camp or looking
to volunteer at one? GSSJC would love to have you aboard.
The day/twilight camp trainings will be held January 8 and

Big congratulations to Nathalie Krantz and Carrie Wurse! They
are patch and theme design winners for the 2005 day/twilight
year. Way to go! Great job girls.

Calling All Lifeguards!
Are you a lifeguard looking to make $10 an
hour on the weekend? Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council is
looking for girls and adults who are 16 or older, are American
Red Cross lifeguard certified, and want to earn $10 an hour
this fall, spring, and summer while lifeguarding at Girl Scout
camps. Lifeguards are needed at Camp Casa Mare in Seabrook;
Camps Agnes Arnold, Misty Meadows, and Silver Springs in Conroe;
Camp Robinwood in Willis; and Camp Whispering Pines in Nacogdoches.
The applicants MUST be dependable, reliable and able to work
with minimal supervision. The job would entail working Saturdays
in the months of April, May, June, July, September, and October.
It is a great way to earn some extra cash. There is an application
process. All applicants must complete an application, and
interview prior to being hired for the position. If you are
