Junior Girl Scout Troop #3693 took a tour of PETCO to learn about animals and work on the Pet Care Badge.

 

 

 

Brownie Troop #14003 put together a care package for Captain Jonny Drake who is serving with the Army’s 10th Mountain Division in Afghanistan. After they boxed up the goodies with lots of homemade cards and letters they delivered it to Captain Drake’s mom.

 

 

 

 


Members of Girl Scout Troop #9199 collected and donated food items to the pantry at Shelby County Outreach Ministries.

Deer Park Girl Scout Troop #1475 had a holiday meal and party at Casa Ole. They played a game in which they exchanged gifts and then were able to switch them with other Girl Scouts. The group made plans for the upcoming year’s events and discussed how they will use their Cookie Sale bonus to help the community

Members of Junior Troop #7418 visited Dylan’s Candy Bar at The Galleria. Girls took a tour, made a picture frame decorated with candy, had soda and ice cream for refreshments, and even took home a pound of candy.

 

 

 


Troop #9199 of Pine Tree Service Unit adopted Pine Grove Nursing Home and with the help of Troop #9028 they made Christmas cards for the residents. Girls delivered the cards and sang holiday carols to the residents.

Kallen, Tess, Maria, and Libby of Troop #2390 load donated clothes into a vehicle. BraesLink Girl Scout Service Unit, which encompasses the West University area, collected gently used clothing for two months for a holiday clothing drive. Over two SUVs full of clothing were collected and delivered to area charities. Girl Scouts were happy to help those in need during the holidays. Some even solicited neighbors and friends to donate clothing and small household items.

Troop #3693 took a tour of the Harvest Bread Company. Girls learned how to make dough and were able to taste all types of samples.

 

 

 

 

Troop #11074 spent the day at Camp Misty Meadows. They attended Love, Hug, and Groom and earned the Eco-Explorer and Playing Around the World try-its.”

Junior Troop #3693 had a great outing at the Pumpkin Patch at the Old Time Christmas Tree Farm. Girls learned how trees are grown, rode on a hayride, and picked their own pumpkins.

Junior Troop #3693 took a tour of the Houston SPCA and donated items they had collected to help support the SPCA program. Girls participated in the Paw Pal Program and earned a patch and completed the Pet Care Badge.

 

 

Troop #9027 took a summer trip to Sea World.
