Fund Development
Supporters provide brighter futures for tomorrow’s leaders

The Fund Development/Brand Management Department solicits donations from corporations, foundations, and individuals to assure that Girl Scouting is available for all girls and to provide financial means for Girl Scout programs.
Supporters may honor others in Girl Scouting in several ways: donations to one of the Council’s many funds, an engraved brick on the Promise Path at Camp Agnes Arnold, or a plaque at Camp Casa Mare. Women may join The Emerald Circle, a social and service group, which supports Girl Scouting through its membership fees.
Donate on-line to any of the Council funds at www.gssjc.org.

Dream, Dare, Do
graduates receive
donation from 2Grrrls Inc.

On behalf of the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council, the Fund Development Department wishes to thank 2Grrrls Inc. for their in-kind donation of 16 Roxy Doll Key Chains. They were kind enough to donate these items for GSSJC to give to its graduates of The Emerald Circle’s Inaugural Dream, Dare, Do - An Experiment in Leadership Class.
The 2Grrrls company creates great girl items including plush dolls, lunch boxes, gift items, and much more. Check out its Web site at www.2grrrls.com. The message is clear, 2Grrrls supports Girl Scouts so remember them when shopping for cute thank you items for the end of the year.

GSSJC provides extra ways to support Girl Scouting

Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council offers several unique ways to support girls in the Council. Donors may give to designated funds or programs, join groups such as the Promise Society or Emerald Circle, or participate in one of the following:

Let your license plate tell others that you support Girl Scouts! Sales from the license plate fund a statewide Gold Award scholarship. Get the order form online at www.gssjc.org/publications/forms.asp and drop it off at the nearest Texas Department of Transportation Office. Or, call 512-465-7611 for more details.

Remember what it was like to go to camp? Swim tests, new friends, and staying up late! The time for resident camp is just around the corner. Just think of the fun campers will have, getting to do all the things you did as a girl!

Think back on those warm, starry nights at camp. Knowing how great they were, how could you tell an excited camper that she can’t attend camp just because of the cost? It’s a task hundreds of parents would have to face each year if it weren’t for GSSJC’s campership fund, which helps families in need pay for their daughters’ camp fees.

Help GSSJC say “YES” to all of the campership requests this year. For $270, you can send one girl to camp for a week! Every year, there are more requests for camperships than the Council can fill. You can help change that. Contact Iska Koontz at 713-292-0346 or ikoontz@sjgs.org.

Honor both girls and leaders by dedicating a brick on The Promise Path at Camp Agnes Arnold. Say thank you with a gift that continues to show appreciation for dedicated service. For more information, call Iska Koontz at 713-292-0346, or 1-800 392-4340, ext. 1346.

Now giving to the Girl Scouts is easier than ever! Make donations or pledges on-line at www.gssjc.org. Contributions may be made to Family Partnership, the Campership Fund, The Emerald Circle, or the Promise Path. Gifts can also be made in honor or memory of another individual. On-line donations may be charged to your credit card, and a receipt for your gift will be stored as part of your on-line giving history.
