Doors open at 10:30 a.m.
Lunch served at 11 a.m.

Spend the entire day with your Girl Scout friends. First honor fellow Girl Scouts, celebrate over a delightful lunch, then top off the afternoon with a little window-shopping at the Galleria. Girls needed as flag bearers and Green Angels
for Adult Recognition Event in May

Girls of all levels are needed as flag bearers and honor guards for a flag parade and ceremony that will include the American, Texas, W.A.G.G.G.S., and Girl Scout flags at the 2004 Adult Recognition Event. Girls must be able to carry a flag.
One hundred girls are needed for the opening ceremony!

Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts are also needed as Green Angels to locate, escort, and assist award recipients during the event.

  • Girls must be in full uniform and arrive at the hotel by 8:30 a.m. on the day of the event for rehearsal.
  • Girls must be available for one other rehearsal prior to the day of the event (date and time to be announced).
  • Following the flag ceremony, girls will be dismissed.
  • Cadettes and Seniors, volunteering as Green Angels, must stay for the event and must purchase tickets ($15) for the luncheon. Troops may want to consider purchasing the tickets from troop funds. Service units may be able to provide financial assistance.
